How does Fingerprint help you?

Let’s look at real problems at
large network enterprise sites!

Performance

Imagine that a customer calls you to say that they have response time problems. If you have ruled out network issues, you can use Fingerprint Processes to quickly see if there are too many programs running on their device before escalating the problem!

Availability

You can set up Fingerprint to automatically update the Fingerprint Central database. For example, if you have set a 5-minute interval and you do not see an update, you may wish to set an alert for yourself. There may be a problem with the server! You need to know before your users do!

Security

You can use the Fingerprint Certificates product to tell you when Certificates will expire on a critical server. If the Certificate expires, the TLS sessions to this server may have problems. Use Fingerprint to stay ahead of the game!

Recent Changes

Let’s imagine you have a server which starts showing bad performance. Fingerprint will let you quickly see if a patch has been applied (or not applied!).

Compliance: PCI

PCI recommends obscuring IPv6 addresses by using a method such as privacy addressing. This means that addresses may change every few minutes! Use
Fingerprint to help you.

Compliance: IPv6

Meet the reporting needs for the US federal government IPv6 mandate.  You can automatically create reports that show your IPv6 and IPv4 addresses per endpoint.
